When joining the Aranthi, Healers must attend the Sanctuary to learn better spells and healing skills. Although Healers are let out into the world as beginners, they are encouraged to return to the Sanctuary as often as possible to learn more white magic. In order to attain a higher rank, a Healer must prove the use of their new found spells in front of the Master Healer. The classes and lessons are told here.
Beginners: For those creatures who wish to be Healers, the first thing you will learn is the art of physical healing, or healing without spells. A Healer cannot always rely on her magic to save lives and must have knowledge that can aid her when she hasn't the strength to perform a blessing. Physical healing includes knowledge of plant life, what can heal and what can harm, what to use to cure basic illness, first aid healing such as splinting a broken leg or arm, and helping to prevent lose of life.
Indermediate: After understanding the less magical aspects of healing, more advanced Healers begin learning actual spells and blessings, though they are the most simple. A minor cut, bruise, or sickness can be cured with these spells, as well as small boosts to mirth.
Advanced: Once the basics are covered, upper class Healers can learn far more complicated white magic. These spells include healing broken limbs, curing poisons, shielding, major mirth boosts, minor summoning, and defensive classes.
Mastery: At the highest level of Healing, top healers learn how to practically stop death, cancel harmful spells from the enemy, more advanced summoning, multiple target healing, and self healing. However, completing the Master level does not always gurantee the right of passage to become the Master Healer.
